Some people love a good print and others shy away from them. I'm all about a print— colorful, tropical and subtle — and have always been drawn to them since my days working at a few different fashion brands. A few of my absolute favorite items of clothing are vintage printed blouses from Dior and Givenchy that are a both polished and whimsical, and work with anything from a pair of dark skinny denim to black high-waisted trousers. I love pairing my jewelry collection with a variety of printed tops and dresses because they actually compliment the prints and make you feel more put together.
Finding a good vintage print takes some time and effort. I love to look at Ebay for some unique finds, What Goes Around Come Around and TheRealReal for designer favorites. A few designers are crushing it in the print department. Continue reading below to see three of my favorites:
Ulla Johnson
I'm a big fan of this designer's beautiful prints. She uses lots of color and pattern, but always makes her clothing look elegant. I love this sleeveless blouse in a pretty yellow print and this high-waisted white skirt with a floral pattern.
This design duo is killing it when it comes to prints. For spring, they have some fun colorful paisley pants, checked blazers and feminine florals in lots of blue and pink. I love this dress and this floral short-sleeve top for when the weather warms up.
Tory Burch
Tory Burch never shies away from a print. For her new spring collection, she uses lots of bright colors in orange, turquoise and green with a mix of patterns and a nod to the 60s. I love this smocked floral dress and this printed pant that is a little preppy, but also fun.
